About Me

I am a non-binary Portuguese-born artist, who grew up and currently resides in Canada. My work reflects themes of longing and otherness. My art explores the complexities of displacement, both in terms of identity and the concept of home, drawing from my experiences growing up in a Catholic immigrant household. My practice aims to communicate a deep connection between the body, land, and culture.
